China is spending some $6.5 billion on security for the Games. Subjects of the Chinese government have been "hired" by their gov to act as spy's by being posted on streets and in parks, searching out "suspicious" activity. Bags are searched, people are frisked, internet activity is limited and monitored, government camera's observe all who walk the streets and roads of Beijing ... and yet, one lone knife wielding psychopath kills one and injures two others in an attack this weekend on tourists and their guide.Moral of the story?
If you surrender your right to provide for your own personal security to any entity, you will find you will end up with neither Rights or security. Who knows better your personal needs, the government or you?
