Hang Ten w/Islamic wacko's ...

Unfortunately, that’s not a surfing reference. While Mahmoud Ahmadinejad got a television platform in the UK to pass along a propaganda message to the West on how to celebrate a holiday his nation abhors, the Iranians celebrated by playing Christmas Tree with ten prisoners:

Norway deplores the executions of 10 persons in Iran on Christmas Eve. Prior to the executions Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Stoere appealed to Iran to stop in time and not go ahead with the executions. …

and meanwhile, back at the ranch ...

On Christmas Day, British television Channel 4 provided Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad a platform to broadcast “an alternative Christmas message on British television to rival Queen Elizabeth II’s annual address.” In the message, Ahmadinejad said that “if Christ were on Earth today, undoubtedly he would hoist the banner of justice and love for humanity to oppose warmongers, occupiers, terrorists and bullies the world over.” The speech received widespread media attention.

Undoubtedly, He would — and Ahmadinejad and his terrorist regime would qualify under all four categories.

Interestingly, no global news agencies bothered to cover the Christmas Eve hangings, despite the worldwide attention focused on Ahmadinejad’s Christmas message. Nor has there been any significant coverage of the Christmas week closing of the human-rights center that belied Ahmadinejad’s holiday message. It seems as though the media only has an interest in acting as a repeater station for tyrants rather than hold them accountable for their actions.

Excellent contrast between what Ahmadinejad says and what he actually does.

Its similar to the fighting in Gaza. The media almost completely ignores hundreds of hamas rockets into Israel over the last week, which was the event that broke the cease fire. But Israel's retaliation gets all of the media attention (and Israel gets all of the blame).

drken,

Rockets, bullets and bomb vests are the things that Israel deals with EVERY day.
It makes you wonder how long the Capital buildings area of DC would put up with daily drive by shootings and sniper rounds coming from the surrounding ghetto. :)

Yeah, it made me a little perplexed to try to understand how it's fine and dandy for Palistinians to bomb Israeli citizens but not the other way around.

I mean, keeping civilian death tolls down as much as possible should always be a concern, but Israelis have been going through these sort of attacks for years, centuries, even millenia!

Plus, the U.N has condemned Israel for retaliating, so I'm on the Israeli side already! ;)

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

I do not think Israel is going to back off any time soon, unlike 2006, when they half assed op's and took some nasty casualties. Seem's like 3 armored brigades are in motion, and backed by their air force = lots of dead Hamas thugs.

Its gonna be an interesting January.

Another fascinating aspect is that there is no condemnation of the people who sacrifice their young children to carry out bombings.

It IS going to be an interesting 2009.

BTW, I just bought another gun and 2 thirty round magazines for my .40.

The West is being sold out in soooo many ways. From the complacent media, to the stupid leadership, to the new religion of mother Earth worship/gaia nonsense in the form of "global warming" to the acceptance of Sha' ria in conventionally Western lands.

Re BTW: What did you buy? Good move on the mags.
I just bought a Mossberg 930 SPX semi auto 12 gauge myself.

Sorry for the 1 trillion character link. lol.
A real sweet shooter. I put 70 rounds through it last weekend. Slick as hell. I would highly recommend it.

Nice.

I bought a Ruger Mark III 22/45 for target shooting and plinking. I needed to get a .22LR since .45 and.40 ammo are getting so expensive. I haven't managed to get it to the range yet. Maybe this Friday.

Nice. Practice makes perfect, and, the .22 round will be a small game getter if and when needed.

What do you have in way of a long gun? Do you have a shotgun or rifle at home?

The only long gun that I have is a Mossberg 12 ga.
